Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and deliver excellent customer service. You will continuously source new customers, help buyers design their dream home, and ensure a smooth sales process.

Role involves communicating value, overcoming objections, closing sales, and maintaining records from sale through financing and construction. Strong organization and CRM usage are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive in daylight or nighttime.
• Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and e‑mail.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition and capabilities to potential customers.
• Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continually source new sales opportunities.
• Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals and work with team members.
• Maintain and expand the database of prospects.
