AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking dedicated local drivers to perform pickup and delivery within a limited area. Drivers are paid hourly and typically work Sunday - Friday, with schedule variations based on customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class A license with HazMat and endorsements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe operating procedures.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to operate a forklift if certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to determine if load complies with regulations.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between our company and the public.
• Drive truck to required destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including landing gear operations.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition as required by laws.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
