Job summary

Framingham Public Schools seeks a part-time Home Visitor / Early Learning Specialist to support the ParentChild+ program. The role focuses on delivering home visits, coaching families, and connecting families to community resources to promote early learning and parent-child interaction.

Experience in early childhood education or family support is preferred. Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Portuguese are highly valued, and a valid MA driver's license is required for travel to families’ homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
• Massachusetts Class D Driver's License or reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory minimum of 16 hours of training with supervisor.
• Conduct bi-weekly home visits with families and young children.
• Complete home visit reports in the ParentChild+ database in a timely manner.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning.
• Provide translation and interpretation as needed.
