Job summary

Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Home Visitor/Early Learning Specialist at Mullen Hall School in Falmouth, MA. This role focuses on home visits to diverse families with children aged 2–4, promoting language development and school readiness through guided reading and play activities.

Responsibilities include weekly visits, mandatory trainings, data entry, ASQ/PIEL assessments, and collaboration with the PC+ Coordinator. Requires driving, strong communication, and cultural competency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience working with young children or families.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Computer skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Visit 5 families for 30 minutes, twice a week, focusing on reading, play and language development.
• Attend a weekly two-hour supervisory meeting as mandated by the National Center.
• Use appropriate books and toys according to PC+ standards and promote developmentally appropriate play.
• Prepare and maintain reflection records, data entry, completed visits, and reports (ASQ 3, ASQ SE, PIEL).
• Work with PC+ Coordinator on monthly reports and program onboarding requirements.
