Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Nurse Home Visitor to support pregnant clients and families through early childhood, helping them achieve healthier outcomes. This full-time exempt position offers training, benefits, and a mission-driven environment.

Qualified applicants will have a Nursing degree and an active RN license; (Spanish skills are a plus). Training is provided, and daily pay option is available after hire.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license (MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING).
• Maternal/child health and/or previous home health experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish desired but not required.
• Worked with diverse populations, communities, and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with first time mothers during pregnancy and continue to see them and their babies until age 2.
• Form a relationship that fosters important conversations to improve birth outcomes and child development.
• Manage approximately 25 cases.
• Visits twice a month.
