Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Nurse Home Visitor in Reading, PA. This full-time exempt role offers daily pay options and dedicated training to support families from pregnancy through a child’s second year.

You will work with first-time mothers, conduct home visits, and help families improve health and development outcomes. RN licensed candidates with maternal/child health experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license (in good standing).
• Maternal/child health and/or home health experience preferred.
• Spanish language ability desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with first-time mothers during pregnancy and continue to see them and their babies until age 2.
• Form a relationship that supports conversations to improve birth outcomes and child development.
• Manage approximately 25 cases.
• Visits twice a month.
