Saginaw Intermediate School District is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide home-based intervention services for families with children prenatal through age five under the Healthy Families America program. Qualifikationen

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Google, Excel, email communications and the Internet.
• Experience with confidential information and FERPA/HIPAA considerations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.

Aufgaben

• Accepts assignments from the HFA Supervisor and contacts families within two business days.
• Collaborates with SISD staff, families and program partners to tailor services to each child and family.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies and legal requirements (FERPA/HIPAA).
• Builds community relationships to enhance referrals and outcomes.
• Completes paperwork, assessments and screenings within timelines.
• Makes CPS referrals when appropriate and reports to supervisor.
• Participates in training and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates computer proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, email and Internet.
• Engages in program marketing and outreach to sustain Healthy Families America.
• Responds to family needs in a culturally sensitive and resourceful manner.
