Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician in Shreveport, LA. You’ll deliver, install and integrate tech products in customers’ homes, including home theater, networking and smart devices, and collaborate with Geek Squad agents and store teams to find the best solutions based on conversations.

The role requires 6 months of consumer electronics delivery/installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
6 months of customer service experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards.
Ability to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required to perform job effectively within 90 days of hire.
Ability to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds as part of a team with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift weight up to 250 pounds as part of a team with the support tools such as harnesses or lifts.

Responsibilities

Provide a seamless customer experience by advising and fulfilling on lifestyle recommendations regarding products and services.
Deliver, install, integrate, network and troubleshoot consumer electronics devices.
Lead two-person jobs and perform other work alone.
Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, paperwork and payments, and follow safety guidelines.
