Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Installation Helper (Cadet) who travels from the store to customers' homes to assist with delivery and basic installation of technology products.

You’ll learn about our products and services, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills in customer service, installation, and home networking while supporting store teams.

This role offers training and on-the-job growth as you build a career with Geek Squad.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• Able to lift 75 pounds with or without accommodation and up to 150 pounds with help
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
• 6 months of consumer electronics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install technology products in customers' homes, focusing on home theater tech
• Maintain contact with clients to explain findings and provide recommendations
• Help manage inventory and vehicle maintenance
• Provide feedback and training to store teams and assist with in-store repairs
• Gain experience with consumer electronics and learn about our products and services
