Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Installation Helper (Cadet) who travels from our Mount Juliet store to clients’ homes to assist with delivery and basic installation of technology products. You’ll learn about our products and services while gaining hands-on experience and advancing through training and on-the-job development.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and the ability to handle a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as you grow a career with Geek Squad.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• No moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past three years (maximum of two).
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations in the past three years.
• Able to lift 75 pounds with or without accommodation and up to 150 pounds with help.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: 6 months of consumer electronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform delivery, installation and networking in clients' homes with a focus on home theater technology.
• Maintain contact with clients to share diagnostic findings and recommendations to protect devices.
• Help manage inventory and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide feedback and training to store teams and assist with in-store repairs.
• Engage with customers and learn about products and services to enhance the experience.
