Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a compassionate Home Services Assistant to support residents in daily routines within our senior living communities. You will respond quickly to needs, foster meaningful interactions, and bring professionalism to every interaction in our facilities.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and strong customer service skills, with opportunities to contribute to residents’ quality of life and well-being in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate kindness and positivity.
• Teamwork and community values are essential.
• Professional communication under pressure is valued.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years in a Home Services role preferred.
• Good computer skills including email and data entry.
• Customer service background and orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing assistance as needed).
• Assist with meals and snacks, following dietary guidance.
• Assist with oxygen equipment as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Shop and run errands for residents.
• Limited travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned by Home Services Coordinator.

Schedule: Full-Time: Monday- Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm

You, our Ideal Candidate
You are a compassionate and dependable Home Services Assistant who is committed to supporting residents in their daily routines. You respond quickly to needs, foster meaningful interactions, and bring compassion and professionalism to every interaction in our communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living. (Examples of these to include: dressing and grooming, ambulation, toileting, transfers with or without equipment, turning and positioning in bed or chair, assist with prescribed exercise routines, provide reminders to take medications, etc.)
• Assist with or prepare meals and snacks, adhering to dietary recommendations
• Assist with oxygen equipment
• Perform light housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clean environment. (Examples of these include making and changing beds, washing dishes, laundering clients’ belongings, etc.)
• Shop and run errands for clients.
• Limited travel required.
• Other duties, as assigned by Home Services Coordinator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a Home Services position, 3+ years preferred
• Good computer skills, including use of email and data entry
