Qualifications

• Level 1: Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting, Required
• Level 2: Minimum of two years in home healthcare, Required
• Level 3: Minimum of three years in home healthcare; may be involved in training of other Healthcare Specialists, Required

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to patient need and Lincare policy
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning)
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance and written reports
• Maintains patient records per accreditation standards
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled
