Formación

• Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy (required).
• NBRC registration or certification (not required for initial hiring).
• Hold a current RCP license if required by state; or RN/LPN license if allowed by state.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instruction to patients/caregivers on equipment and respiratory care procedures.
• Ensure patients/caregivers can operate and maintain equipment.
• Perform on-call duties on a rotating schedule.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Inspect and test respiratory equipment for proper operation.
• Maintain patient records with care plans, prescriptions, and follow-up docs.
• Consult with referring physicians regarding treatment and home environment.
• Participate in ongoing respiratory therapy education and training.
