Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to support home-based care. You will educate patients and caregivers on equipment, perform clinical assessments, and coordinate with physicians to optimize patient plans of care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, NBRC certification, a current RCP license where applicable, and CPR certification. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for home visits are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy is required.
• NBRC certification is required.
• Current RCP license in practicing states.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients/caregivers on equipment use and respiratory care procedures.
• Perform clinical assessments and tests (pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, vital signs).
• Conduct routine patient follow-ups and coordinate care with physicians.
• Operate and inspect respiratory care equipment (oxygen, nebulization, PAP, ventilation).
• Enter data into monitoring systems and maintain patient records.
