Job summary

Lincare in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver and instruct patients and caregivers on equipment use, perform follow-ups, and ensure safe operation of home respiratory devices.

You will complete daily paperwork, coordinate with physicians, inspect equipment, and provide clinical care per orders; CPR certification and NBRC credentials preferred. This role offers growth and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NBRC credentials as RRT preferred; CRT accepted.
• Must have current state professional license.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in respiratory care is required.
• Experience with home medical equipment is highly desired.
• Current CPR certification and attainment of company direct patient care health requirements is required before interacting with patients.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and educate patients/caregivers on proper equipment use.
• Routine patient follow-up contacts and equipment maintenance checks.
• Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, plans of care and treatment.
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provides and evaluates respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults with referring physician regarding patient treatment and home environment.
