Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of York County is seeking a Home Repair Coordinator to oversee the repair program, coordinating skilled and unskilled volunteers and subcontracted labor. You will report to the Construction Supervisor and ensure projects meet goals and safety standards.

You will estimate costs, manage schedules with the Construction Team, and promote the program to homeowners and volunteers. Strong communication, scheduling, and construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; construction coursework beneficial.
• Must be willing to become Habitat Competent Person within 3 months of employment.
• Must be willing to become EPA RRP Certified within 3 months of employment.
• Must be willing to become EPA Lead-Based Paint Abatement and Evaluation Program certified within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the goals and objectives of Habitat for Humanity of York County’s Home Repair Program.
• Under the Director of Program Services, determine scope of work; inspect and estimate repair costs.
• In partnership with Construction Team, organize and execute a schedule for home repair activities.
• Monitor and inspect construction work; interact with code enforcement and other departments as needed.
• Monitor program performance; recommend procedural improvements to increase efficiency and capacity.
• Promote the program through outreach and presentations.
• Stay updated on new developments in home rehabilitation and hazardous materials.
• Facilitate Prune, Plant, and Paint projects with volunteers.
• Perform related duties as required.
