Job summary

Christian Appalachian Project, Inc. in Mt. Vernon, KY seeks a Home Repair Coordinator to assist families in obtaining financing for home repairs, administer grant funds, and coordinate contractor information and bids.

The role provides bookkeeping support to regional managers, develops filing systems, and participates in disaster response, ensuring accurate records for FAHE and CAP’s mission. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 18 months of related field training.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Valid Kentucky Driver's License with safe driving record.
• CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Reviews financial data of participants to assist financing for rehab of existing homes and occasionally new homes.
• Prepares and submits grant documentation for regional managers.
• Coordinates contractor bids, ensures clean contracts and liability documentation.
• Codes invoices for Home Repair and submits to finance.
• Develops and maintains filing systems for project correspondence.
• Provides administrative support to regional managers and gathers data for FAHE.
• Takes staff meeting notes for regional managers and submits them.
• Provides administrative support during disaster response.
