Job summary

Under direction, you will coordinate day-to-day operations of home rehabilitation loan programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, and supervise assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two years of experience in mortgage loan processing and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation of home rehabilitation loan programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Review applications for completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
• Determine client eligibility (income verification, ownership, availability of funds, property qualifications).
• Prepare documents for commitment and schedule execution of documents with City Attorney's Office support.
• Explain program terms and conditions to applicants and ensure understanding prior to execution.
• Order title reviews to confirm ownership with City Attorney Office support.
• Prepare legal documents for closing and ensure all documents and follow-up are complete before releasing funds.
• Maintain related logs and prepare necessary reports.
• Conduct training sessions for homeowners and copartners.
• Perform related duties as required.
