Job summary

Western Exterminator in San Marcos, CA is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to grow our pest management business with a customer-first approach. You will assess homes, present pest control solutions, and collaborate with service teams to ensure successful installations and follow-ups.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year sales or pest experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Base pay is hourly with commissions, in a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of sales or pest technician experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a customer service role recommended.
• Must be an effective verbal communicator with customer-facing conversations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Residential Pest Management Services to new and existing customers.
• Perform needs analyses to identify pest control solutions.
• Visually inspect homes for pests and entry points.
• Develop proposals and elevate opportunities with CRM-based documentation.
• Collaborate with customer service, Inside Sales and technicians to close sales.
• Follow up on proposals to convert opportunities into sales.
