Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients’ homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe use and independence, while maintaining equipment and documenting care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, Field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and HME equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to support ongoing care.
• Respond to equipment issues, including during emergencies.
• Maintain home oxygen systems through scheduled patient visits.
