AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or other sites as needed.

You will educate patients and caregivers, perform assessments, and follow HIPAA and infection control standards during visits. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with preference for healthcare experience. Qualified candidates can expect comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re assessments to support appropriate ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including under emergency conditions when required.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately and timely to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Maintain basic reimbursement knowledge to ensure proper billing for equipment and services.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
