Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients' homes, clinics, or other care locations. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe use, assist with ongoing care, and ensure comfort and independence.

A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required. Daily responsibilities include equipment maintenance, patient assessments, and collaboration with care teams to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and维护 equipment in home and clinic settings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete orders and documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Promote company services to referral sources where appropriate.
