Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician who will deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients’ homes, clinics, or other care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers and ensure comfort, safety, and independence.

The role involves on-site visits, maintaining equipment, and contributing to compliant care and documentation. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or stated.
• Customer service, field-based, healthcare experience preferred.
• One year healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment and ensure safety and comfort.
