Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and other sites. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety and independence, and participate in on-call rotations as required.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and prior customer service or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service or field-based experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer interaction preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments for ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment in patients' homes.
• Complete required compliance training and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
