Job summary

AdaptHealth is hiring a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment. You will educate patients and caregivers and ensure safe, independent use of devices in home or clinical settings.

The role involves patient assessments, ongoing care, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards, including driving to patient homes and on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare technician, delivery, or field service experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely to support patient care and reimbursement.
