Job summary

Norman Regional in Oklahoma is seeking a Regular Full Time Front Desk/Customer Service role in the medical equipment field. You will respond to inquiries from physicians, patients, and referral sources, and handle walk-in orders with accuracy.

This position requires strong customer service, basic medical billing knowledge, and computer/data entry skills; prior Home Medical Equipment billing experience is preferred. Monday through Friday, day shift, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Two years Home Medical Equipment Billing experience preferred.
• Computer, communication, office equipment, and data entry skills required.
• Medical accounts billing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to inquiries and orders from physicians, patients, and other referral sources.
• Answers incoming calls.
• Initiate order intake for walk-in patients.
• Close out each day's activities through the store front.
• Knowledgeable of products and services.
• Inventory and Tracking Responsibilities.
• Provides excellent customer service to all patients, guests and family members.
• After Hours Call
• Trans filling and Deliveries
• Patient and family equipment education
• Home Safety Assessments
• Performs all functions necessary to register patients
• Performs patient test order entry
• Compiles and audits for accuracy registration information and forwards to patient accounts and medical records
• Instructs patients and other personnel on the proper procedure for equipment storage, billing and transport requirements.
