Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and provide exceptional customer service, contributing to patient safety and independence.

The role offers a stable schedule with on‑call rotations and a supportive, small team atmosphere. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required, with opportunities for training and growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs during daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies in patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer high level of customer service and support to patients relying on equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
