Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring Delivery Technicians to bring medical equipment to patients' homes. You will set up devices, train patients on operation, and coordinate with families to ensure smooth delivery and use.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and excellent service in homecare settings. The position requires a valid driver’s license, multiple years of driving history, and a willingness to be on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• At least one year related work experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an active, valid Driver’s License at all times.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Meet job-related requirements to comply with FDA and Joint Commissions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload medical equipment, oxygen and supplies onto and off of delivery vehicles.
• Deliver medical equipment to homecare patients, set up equipment and instruct patients.
• Proactively communicate estimated arrival times to patients and families.
• Complete daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, and maintenance logs.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and daily inspections.
• Respond to critical situations during business hours and on-call.
• Comply with traffic laws and provide required documents for DQF.
• Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements for safety and welfare.
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
