Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, provide equipment setup, and educate patients on proper use. The role emphasizes patient-focused service, safety, and adherence to DOT regulations while supporting on-call coverage in the evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of driving experience, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role or equivalent position.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-delivered vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends to address patient medical emergencies.
