Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on equipment use. Responsibilities include completing orientation checklists, following routes, and maintaining vehicle safety.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of driving experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. On-call evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse per FDA protocols.
• Be available for on-call rotations during evenings/weekends for emergencies.
