Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver and pick up equipment for homecare patients. You will set up equipment, train patients on basic use, and coordinate daily routes across territories.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of related experience, plus a minimum three-year driving history. Opportunities include comprehensive benefits and on-going training.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one-year related work experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients. Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment.
• Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.
• Schedules and organizes daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory.
• Loads and unloads durable medical or infusion equipment, oxygen and medical supplies onto delivery vehicle.
• Complies with regulatory requirements including driver qualification files, hours of service, and fleet regulations.
• Completes paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up/delivery forms, and maintenance logs.
• Notifies supervisor if safety concerns or unsanitary conditions are observed in patients' homes.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance logs and ensures vehicles are in proper working condition.
