Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, including equipment setup and patient education. You will follow assigned routes and schedules, maintain a clean, safe delivery vehicle, and establish outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; Experience: minimum one year of professional driving; physical ability to lift 50+ pounds; on-call rotations during evenings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role, required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies.
