Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, also providing equipment setup and educating patients on proper use of equipment.

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Experience: Minimum one year of professional driving; Licenses: Valid Driver's License; Physical: ability to lift 50+ pounds; On-call rotations during evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds and operate delivery vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies
