Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to assist with equipment setup for patients. You will educate patients on usage, follow routes, and maintain vehicle safety. Great interpersonal skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and comply with DOT/FMSCA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety and cleanliness.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal teams.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for emergencies.
