Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to our patients, with duties including equipment setup and patient education on proper use.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of professional driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds plus, with a focus on safety and excellent patient relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading and unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies.
