Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of related experience with a minimum three years driving history.

English proficiency is required for patient communication. The position involves loading and unloading equipment, completing logs, and handling paperwork.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• English (reading, writing, verbal)

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment and basic supplies to patients’ homes.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy and DME equipment where appropriate.
• Load/unload equipment from delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle logs.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call if needed.
• Complete daily delivery logs, pickup forms and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe home environments or any concerns identified during visits.
