Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 21+ years old, and a DOT/FDA-compliant background.

You will load/unload equipment, assist patients with basic device use, and handle daily delivery paperwork. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma and one year of related experience, plus a minimum of three years driving history.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., FDA and standards of accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instructs patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and related devices.
• Loads and unloads equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call periods.
• Completes daily delivery logs and related paperwork.
• Maintains patient profiles and relevant documentation.
• Reports unsafe home environments to supervisor.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
