Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on proper use. The role includes patient orientation, driving to routes, vehicle maintenance, and on-call coverage. Must meet physical requirements, have a valid license, and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills required.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and DOT/FMC paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and loading/unloading safety
• Establish and maintain relationships with patients and team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for emergencies
