Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, educate patients on equipment use, and assist with setup.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, adherence to routes, safety, and on-call coverage, with opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Minimum driving experience and a valid license are required, with a strong focus on customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds (alone) and more with assistance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse per FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for emergencies.
