Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to train patients on proper equipment use. The role emphasizes patient interaction, route adherence, and vehicle safety while supporting on-call shifts.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to perform physically demanding loading/unloading tasks. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and loading/unloading safety.
• Establish and maintain excellent relations with patients and team members.
• Keep delivery vehicle and warehouse clean and organized per FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evening/weekend patient emergencies.
