Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, provide equipment setup, and educate users on proper operation.

The role includes following patient orientation checklists, maintaining routes, and upholding safety and regulatory standards, with on-call rotation in evenings and weekends. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional driving experience is required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for emergencies.
