Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Home Medical Equipment Technician I - Delivery Driver for the day shift. This full-time role involves delivering equipment to patients’ homes, setting up devices, and instructing users on operation.

On-call rotations occur outside business hours, and routine maintenance keeps equipment ready for use. Required MA/EMT/LPN or equivalent training and a current Michigan driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have MA, EMT, LPN or equivalent training and experience.
• Current Michigan motor vehicle license and ability to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment to client homes in a safe manner and sets up the equipment.
• Rotates through an on-call schedule with other technicians during non-business hours.
• Maintains and cleans equipment, vehicles, and the facility per procedures and prepares equipment for patient use.

A Day inthe Life

An HME Tech I delivers equipment to the client’s home in a safe manner, setting it up and instructing on its operation and use. They rotate through an on-call schedule with other technicians covering the territory during non-business hours. They maintain and clean the equipment, vehicles, and facility following procedures and making the equipment patient ready.

What’s Required

• MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience


• Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes
