Munson Healthcare is seeking an HME Intake Specialist in Traverse City, Michigan. This role handles Home Medical Equipment requests from medical professionals and customers, performing insurance verification and prior authorization to ensure smooth reimbursement processes.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of related office or DME experience, a High School diploma, and a valid Michigan driver's license with access to an insured vehicle for errands in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• Additional college level courses preferred.
• 3 years related office or durable medical equipment experience required, preferably in the health care field.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Must possess a current Michigan driver’s license and an insured vehicle for required errands in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• The HME Intake Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing Home Medical Equipment related requests from the medical community as well as customers. • Valid Michigan Driver's License
• Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license and an insured vehicle that can be used to complete required errands in various weather conditions.

Additional Information
