A Day in the Life

• Home Med Equipment Tech I delivers equipment to the client’s home in a safe manner, sets it up, and instructs on its operation and use.
• Rotates through an on-call schedule with other technicians covering the territory during non-business hours.
• Maintains and cleans the equipment, vehicles, and facility following procedures and making the equipment patient ready.

What’s Required

• MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience
• Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes

MHC requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
