Munson Healthcare is seeking an HME Tech I to deliver and set up home medical equipment, ensuring patient safety and clear operation instructions. The role includes participating in an on-call rotation to cover the territory after hours and performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, vehicles, and the facility to keep everything patient-ready.

A Day in the Life

An HME Tech I delivers equipment to the client's home in a safe manner, setting it up and instructing on its operation and use. They rotate through an on-call schedule with other technicians covering the territory during non-business hours. They maintain and clean the equipment, vehicles, and facility following procedures and making the equipment patient ready.

What's Required

• MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience


• Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients' homes

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
