Judevine Center for Autism in Joplin, MO is seeking a Home Manager - Autism Residential Services to coordinate, implement and oversee a home within our residential program under the Hub Director.

You will supervise ISL staff and residents, develop schedules, coordinate medical appointments, write plans and maintain open communication with families and professionals. Starting salary is $47,000 with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction, support and supervision to ISL staff and residents in home and community, including mentoring.

• Oversee scheduling of direct care staff to maintain staffing patterns.
• Assist in planning/implementing Individual Support Plans and Behavior Development Plans.
• Maintain open communication within the team and with outside networks.
• Represent Judevine Center for Autism professionally in the community.
• Maintain daily and monthly paperwork accurately.
• Be on call for emergencies and scheduling conflicts.

Position summary

The Home Manager - Autism Residential Services is responsible for assistance in the coordination, implementation, evaluation and oversight of a specific home (ISL) in the residential program, under the direction and supervision of the Hub Director. He or she helps ensure that ISL follows guidelines set forth by funding agencies and accrediting bodies.

The Home Manager - Autism Residential Services will:

• Provide direct instruction, support and supervision to ISL staff and residents both in the home and in the community. This includes training, providing on-the-job orientation and mentoring each staff member to provide them with the tools necessary to be successful in their position.
• Provide oversight and coordination of support and services within the ISL for all residents. This includes the writing of daily schedules, taking into account individual needs, scheduling medical appointments and follow up, menu planning, etc.
• Oversee scheduling of direct care staff to make certain staffing patterns are upheld.
• Assist in the planning, development and implementation of Individual Support Plans/Person Centered Plans and Behavior Development Plans for ISL residents.
• Keep communication lines open between all members of each person's team.
• Represent Judevine in a professional manner, not only in the community but also with other professional networks and at professional networking meetings.
• Maintain daily and monthly paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Be on call as necessary for emergency situations and scheduling conflicts.

Requirements

We are looking for a Home Manager- Autism Residential Services that has:

Education:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Degree in Human Services field preferred, but not required.

Experience:

At least three years of experience working with people with autism and/or other intellectual or developmental disabilities.
