Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Home Lending Assistant to join Chase Home Lending. You will support the loan process, coordinate with Home Lending Advisors, Realtors, and builders to help borrowers achieve homeownership while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will engage with customers, review applications, gather documentation, and maintain a smooth pipeline to drive a high-quality customer experience and sales outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in sales and/or real estate.
• At least 4 years’ mortgage loan processing experience.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office or similar).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility and maintain quality and high productivity with customers and changing work demand.

Responsibilities

• Take initial inquiries for prequalification and complete applications.
• Discuss products and pricing with Home Lending Advisors when needed.
• Review complex files and identify potential problems before submission to processing.
• Manage pipeline and keep advisors and borrowers updated on status.
• Coordinate submissions and closings with realtors and builders to enable advisors to generate new business.
• Assist in staffing Realtor/builder open houses and trade shows with marketing.
• Support advisors to achieve annual loan production goals.
