Job summary
Chattanooga Home Inspector in Cleveland, TN is seeking a detail-oriented home inspector to join our growing team. You will perform on-site inspections of residential properties, explain findings clearly to homeowners, buyers, and agents, and help drive follow-up sales for recommended services.
You should have construction experience, knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and be pursuing or hold a Home Inspector certification.
Qualifications
- Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
- Proficiency with HVAC and basic electrical systems and the ability to evaluate common defects and safety issues.
- Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
- Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a schedule of inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections on-site at residential properties in the Chattanooga area.
- Inspect structural, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Interact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents with professional communication.
- Create clear, photo-supported reports using inspection software and deliver within expected turnaround times.
