Job summary

My City Home Inspector is hiring a detail-oriented home inspector to perform on-site residential inspections in the Cleveland, TN area. You will assess structure, systems, and safety, then prepare comprehensive, photo-supported reports for homeowners, buyers and agents.

The role combines technical inspection work with customer service and follow-up sales to grow the business. A Home Inspector license or active pursuit is required, plus reliable transportation and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with residential systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC and basic electrical systems.
• Active pursuit or possession of Home Inspector certification/licensure.
• Excellent customer service and ability to explain issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections on residential properties in the Chattanooga/Cleveland area.
• Create clear, photo-supported reports within turnaround times.
• Engage with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents professionally.
