Inspect structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems and deliver clear, photo-supported reports. Certification or active pursuit preferred; driving across the Chattanooga area is expected.

Qualifications

  • Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
  • HVAC familiarity and basic electrical system knowledge; able to evaluate defects and safety issues.
  • Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
  • Strong customer service and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and scheduling inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field inspections on-site at residential properties.
  • Assess structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
  • Interact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents with professional communication.
  • Create clear, photo-supported reports using inspection software.
  • Deliver reports within expected turnaround times.

This role blends technical inspection work, customer service, and sales-focused follow-up to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals make informed decisions about residential properties. If you have construction experience, knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and hold (or are pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license, we want to hear from you.

What to Expect:
  • Field-Based Work: Majority of work performed on-site at residential properties across the Chattanooga area.

  • Variety & Learning: Inspections will include structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems — every day is different.

  • Client Interaction: Frequent direct contact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents; professional, friendly communication is essential.

  • Reporting: Use company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports and deliver them within expected turnaround times.

Who You Are:
  • Technically Skilled: Hands-on construction experience and familiarity with residential HVAC and electrical systems.

  • Certified or Licensed: Hold (or be actively pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license as required by state or national standards.

Required Qualifications:
